To assure the Colorado-Big Thompson and Windy Gap Projects operate within
prescribed legal constraints, the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy
District and Municipal Subdistrict operate and maintain a network of gages
that monitor streamflow and reservoir conditions. This data is collected,
stored and transmitted to the Distirct headquarters in Berthoud.
Data is typically collected remotely every five minutes and transmitted on 1-4
hour intervals. Streamflow and reservoir conditions are divided into two
groups, those on the East Slope of the Continental Divide and those on the
West Slope. Please click below on your area of interest.
