The Public Information branch is responsible for the District's Public Information and Records Management functions. The PI staff is responsible for handling all public information request.

The District's PI program involves all activities associated with providing information to a variety of groups including C-BT allottees, the general public, media, government officials, community groups as well as District Board and Staff members. The PI branch coordinates the District's speakers bureau and a variety of tours.

Established in 1986, the branch has seven full-time employees, including a public information officer, graphic designer, and records manager.
