Mary's Lake

Mary's Lake

Mary's Lake is a natural basin, enlarged to regulate the flow of water to the Estes Park Power Plant. The lake, southwest of Estes Park, also provides emergency storage for West Slope water if flow must be stopped. The lake has no natural inflow.

Prospect Mountain Conduit and Tunnel carries water from Mary's Lake to the Estes Power Plant penstock.
